FEES INFORMATION

The Committee of Management, at the discretion of the Treasurer, sets down term fees. Fees are paid by the members to cover costs such as rent for the premises, utilities, art & craft supplies, sundries & equipment.

The fee structure is listed below:

Annual fees may be paid at the previous AGM to receive a 10% discount on Term Fees ONLY.

In the case of multiple births, the first child is considered the enrolled child and additional children are required to pay a Sibling Fee. This is the same in the case of twins.

Should a member wish to attend more than one session per week, an additional Term Fee is required to be paid.

Payment of Fees

The referred method of fee payment is by direct deposit (via internet).

Cheques (made out to The Concord Playgroup Inc) & cash are accepted – CASH WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED BY COMMITTEE MEMBERS OR AT COMMITTEE MEETINGS.

A Fee Advice Form is to be completed and provided to the Assistant Treasurer (Fees) for ALL payments relating to fees and levies.

Fees and levies are payable immediately upon enrolment or for existing members, fees for the coming term are due at the last Committee meeting of the ending term.

Dates fees are due and payable by are listed below:

Fee Due Dates for 2013

• Term 1 Fees Due November 13th, 2012
• Term 2 Fees Due March 19th, 2013
• Term 3 Fees Due June 11th, 2013
• Term 4 Fees Due September 3rd, 2013

Fee Due Dates for 2014

• Term 1 Fees Due November 12th, 2013 – AGM

Eligibility & Criteria

The Concord Playgroup Inc accept pre-school children for enrolment (usually aged 0 to 5), pending the availability of positions. For the enrolment of multiple children, the 1st child is considered the enrolled child and additional children will attend a session as a "Sibling". This is the same in the case of twins.

Multiple Session Attendance: Each session attended is billed separately, (ie. if attending an 11am-1pm session, attendance at the 1pm-3pm session time is not permitted unless payment has been made and received for the additional session time). Members who wish to bring an extra child to a session on a regular basis, will be required to take out a separate membership for that child or children.

Sibling Fee

The 1st child is considered the "enrolled" child and additional children (over the age of 1) attending a session will be required to pay the Sibling Fee of $5 per term per sibling. This is the same in the case of twins.

Fundraising Levy

It is compulsory for all members to pay the Fundraising Levy of $10 each term. The Fundraising Levy goes towards the purchase of new equipment, "Fun Days" and our Christmas Fun Day.

Maintenance Levy

It is compulsory for all members to pay the Maintenance Levy of $50 per year – this Levy is refundable upon the member attending and completing one working bee throughout the year.

Late Payment Fee

The Late Payment Fee of $5 per term is applicable to all fees and levies not received by the first week of each new term.

VPA Membership/Insurance

Membership/Insurance with VPA is mandatory for all members and is an annual payment of $30 (or $20 for concession card holders). This membership/insurance covers playgroup/members for things such as injury and public liability. Payments for Playgroup Victoria membership/insurance should be made directly to Playgroup Victoria. A membership form is available for downloading under the Enrolment Information section above. Alternatively the option is provided at the end of each year for members to pay The Concord Playgroup Inc for the payment to be on-forward to Playgroup Victoria on the member's behalf. Information on this will be provided at the end of each year. Members may NOT attend The Concord Playgroup Inc if membership to Playgroup Victoria is not paid or is current and have not registered their Playgroup Victoria membership number and expiry date with the Enrolment Co-ordinator or the VPA Representative.

Discounts

No discounts to fees or levies will be applied unless the option to pay a full year of fees in advance for the following year is taken up and payment made at the AGM each year. If the option is taken by a member, a 10% discount will be applied to the Term Fees ONLY. There is no discount on Sibling Fees, the Fundraising Levy or Maintenance Levy. Also, members joining during a term are not eligible for a pro-rata term fee, unless this has been discussed with the Assistant Treasurer and has the approval of the Treasurer and President.

An Enrolment Form and other relevant forms are listed below for immediate download but contact is still required to be made with the Enrolment Co-ordinator to discuss available session times and availability before an enrolment is accepted.
